A Bay Area Story for the Tech Age.

Following the success of our award-winning film “Omi,” we are proud to present our latest project, “Surviving Tech.” This compelling short film explores the intricate world of a Black marketing executive in Silicon Valley who is at a crossroads when she's sidelined from a campaign directed at her own community.

“Surviving Tech” is a testament to our commitment to telling bold, resonant stories. It’s a narrative that delves deep into the realms of corporate politics and the challenge of initiating change. This film is not just an artistic endeavor; it's our way of contributing to the critical conversation about diversity and representation in the tech world.

Thea Booker

Versatile producer and set designer from the Bay Area, celebrated for bringing imaginative and dynamic spaces to life on screen.

As Bay Area filmmakers, our story isn't just about films; it's a narrative woven from sisterhood and friendship. Our bond, rooted in shared passions and complementary talents in videography and film, sparked the creation of Vizzle Productions in 2015. Offering both videography and photography services, we've made our mark across the Bay Area and beyond. Our collaboration took a significant leap forward after partnering with Beastmode Productions for our debut short film, "Omi," in 2018. Despite its amateur cast, "Omi" broke through the noise, earning a spot in 9 film festivals and clinching 2 awards. This success wasn't just a milestone; it was the ignition of a new chapter. Post-pandemic, we're channeling our energies into our second film, fueled by the same spirit that "Omi" sparked. Together, we're not just telling stories; we're sharing our journey, one frame at a time.
